Menu Plan 4/24: Easter Edition
Here's our plan for eating this week. I have a feeling it might change a few times before the week is over... :)
We tried two new recipes last week - Pizza Pie and Lemon-Broccoli Rice with Chicken. I made the Pizza Pie pretty much as directed, but without a crust (so it was gluten free). The Lemon-Broccoli Rice with Chicken was a new recipe involving Original Philly Cooking Creme; we got the recipe off the package. We both really enjoyed both of these new recipes! (Just please don't tell my husband that the pizza pie was really a "quiche" - he wouldn't like it if were called a quiche! LOL!)
Sunday: Lemon-Broccoli Rice with Chicken.
Monday: Monterey Chicken, fried potatoes, veggies.
Tuesday: Beef and hash browns (skillet dinner), veggies.
Wednesday: Highway clean-up at church. Leftovers for me/pizza for my husband!
Thursday: I have my last Family Night for school, so my husband will likely have leftovers.
Friday: Grill (burgers?), roasted potatoes, veggies.
Saturday: I am supposed to go to a bridal shower up north and I'm not sure what time I'll be home.
For breakfast, we each grab what we want: waffles, muffins, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, cold cereal, yogurt, etc.
For lunch, I usually eat leftovers. My husband eats a sandwich or leftovers - he takes his lunch to work most days. Since I work part time, I take my lunch to school (and usually we meet at church and eat together!).
