Pick N Save: Spent $35.76

While I was Marshfield, after I stopped by Target for a few deals, I also went to Pick N Save (a Roundy's store - same ad as Copps).

I had planned on going to Aldi, but the Aldi that is supposed to be in Marshfield seems to have disappeared! Because I couldn't go to Aldi, I had to do some very quick thinking on my feet at Pick N Save. In the end, it all worked out really well!

Transaction 1
(2) Mushrooms, .50 each
(2) Diced tomatoes, 15 oz., .59 each
(1) Tomato sauce, 8 oz., .45
(2) Altoids Smalls, .99 each
(2) Hillshire Farms lunchmeat 1.00 each (used two $1/1 coupons; both doubled)
(1) 85/15 ground round 3.29/lb. = 9.44 (Ouch!)
Fresh broccoli .99/lb. = 1.49
Fresh green beans .69/lb. = .86
Fresh green bell peppers .99/lb. = .50
(6) Yoplait Light cups .17 each (used $1/6 Recycle Bank coupon, which doubled)
(2) Heluva Good French onion dip, 12 oz., both FREE (use two .50/1 coupons; both doubled)

Transaction 2
(4) Ronzoni pasta .25 each (used two $1/2 coupons; both doubled)
(1) Frosted Mini Wheats w/fruit FREE (used $1/1 coupon, which doubled)
(1) Filipo Berio olive oil, 16.9 oz. 2.69 (used $1/1 peelie from box of pasta, which doubled)
(1) Mission chips, 20 oz. 3.00
(1) Capri Sun 1.99
(1) Suave Professionals hair spray FREE (use free product coupon)
(1) Roundy's shredded cheddar, 16 oz. 4.19 (This nearly killed me to pay this much!)
(1) Kraft chunk cheese, 8 oz. 1.99
(1) Jello Temptations .50 (used $1/1 Kraft First Taste coupon, which doubled)

*Frosted Mini Wheats - I was happy to see that the new Fruit variety was included! My husband doesn't care for this kind of cereal, but it's a great item to donate (or maybe keep on hand for guests?)!

*Olive oil - Boy, was this an ordeal! I found the peelie coupon on a box of Ronzoni pasta. There was a small problem, though - the coupon expired on 12/31/10! Customer service graciously offered to give me a $2 store credit in place of the doubled coupon, which made this olive oil a great deal - cheaper than Aldi! {They went to check for more of the expired coupons and found tons more. They just received that shipment a few weeks ago, too. The manager thanked me for pointing it out to them.}

*Chicken - I had wanted to get the .99/lb. chicken drumsticks and thighs, but of course, they were sold out. I picked up a rain check, so maybe I can use it next time I shop.

*Why two transactions? In order to double coupons, Copps/Pick N Save requires a minimum $25 pre-coupon purchase. In addition, they limit customers to five doubled coupons per transactions. In order to minimize my out of pocket cost, I did two transactions. I almost always shop this way at Roundy's stores!
