Super Savings Saturday 5/21

I just picked up a few things this week. Most of the shopping for May has been done already!

Dollar General
(4) Suave shampoo, 15 oz., .75 each (on clearance)
(1) Pure Silk shave cream, $1.50
(1) Pantene straightening cream, $.50 (on clearance for $2.50, used $2 off coupon from Brand Sampler)
Spent $5.39.

Target
(1) Zyrtec 5 ct. FREE (used free product coupon)
(1) Cutter Backwoods bug spray, .99 (used $2/1 Target coupon and $1/1 man. coupon, which is no longer available)
(1) Up & Up liners, .14 (used .75/1 Target coupon)
(1) Up & Up rubbing alcohol, .52 (used .50/1 Target coupon)
Spent .45.
Please do not ask me to explain the math on this trip! I honestly cannot figure it out. Best I can tell, the Up & Up first aid coupon (for the rubbing alcohol) scanned at $2 instead of .50. I have no clue how or why that happened!

Woodman's (in La Crosse)

Spent $5.26.

Kwik Trip

Total spent this week: $12.96 minus $1 = $11.96
I had purchased Up & Up vitamins last week and then the $1/1 coupon appeared on Target's website this week. I took the coupon with me this week, with my receipt, and asked for an adjustment. They quickly took care of it and gave me $1 in cash for the coupon. It never hurts to ask...nicely, of course!
