Transaction #1 |
Copps requires a minimum of $25 before coupons in order to take of advantage of the double coupons, so with that in mind, here's what I did for my first transaction:
- One tub of Cottonelle Fresh wipes, $2.49
- One 3 lb. bag of red potatoes, $1.99
- Six boxes of Chex cereal - at a regular price of $3.65 each.
- $9 came off automatically as part of cereal deal (wyb 6 boxes).
- $2.49 came off with my coupon for FREE Cottonelle wipes.
- $9.35 came off with Chex cereal coupons. I had (6) $.85/1 Chex cereal coupons (from Psst), but only five of them doubled, according to the Double Daze rules.

My shopping trips are usually much simpler (as you have seen on Super Savings Saturday posts), but I wanted to outline this trip so it is explained thoroughly for you. Hopefully this provides some inspiration and encouragement - saving money is not tough work!
