Check out the new Coupon Database!

This weekend, I added the Coupon Database from Deal Seeking Mom to Our Frugal Happy Life! This is the database that I prefer when doing matchups, so I know it will be helpful to you as well.

You can find the link to the Coupon Database at the top of the blog. You can see in the image above that I circled the link for you.

After you click on the link to that page, you will see this:

You can enter a search keyword in the box and hit the "Search" button. Any coupons matching your keyword will then appear.

If the coupon is a coupon from a newspaper insert or other print publication, it will look like this:

This means that you may be able to find a $1 off coupon for Skippy in the July 31 Red Plum insert. The "R" after the date indicates that this was a regional coupon, so you may not have received this coupon. If the coupon was available {mostly} everywhere, that "R" will not be there. Notice that the database also tells you the expiration date of the coupon. The next column to the right lists any limitations on this coupon; for example, this Skippy coupon is only valid on a product that is 15 oz. or larger.

If the coupon is a printable coupon available on the Internet, it will look like one of these:

The top coupon is a Target store coupon and the bottom coupon is one that is available directly from the manufacturer. Again, you see the coupon value and the expiration date. In order to print the coupon, simply click on one of the links (which are blue). Doing so will open a new window where you can then print the coupon!

Do you have any other questions about the new Coupon Database? Did I miss anything in my tutorial?

Have you “liked” Our Frugal Happy life on Facebook yet? We have lots of fun over there, too!
