Shopping: Walgreens and Festival

We had yet another funeral on Monday and somehow I turned into the funeral luncheon coordinator (It had something to do with me being the pastor's wife...that means I'll do anything, right?!). Because I was suddenly coordinating the luncheon, that meant I had to get down to Festival to pick up the ham and buns.

Since I was going to be in Mauston anyways, it only made sense that I grab a few things for us at Walgreens and Festival...right? :)

Walgreens
I just did one simple transaction at Walgreens - and it did not involve any Register Rewards!

Dawn Hand Renewal (9 oz.), $0.49 (used $0.50 off coupon from 10/2 P&G)
Finesse conditioner, $0.99 (used $1 off coupon from Sept. All You; will submit this rebate for $2 back!)
2 Nivea lip care, $1 each (on sale 2/$4; used two $1 off coupons)
2 M&M's, $1.25 each (used $1/2 store coupon plus $1.50/2 manufacturer printable)
Sympathy card, $0.99
Spent $7.69.

*I did purchase the Finesse separately since I need to submit the original receipt for the rebate. I usually find that to be easier.
*I am a little disappointed with the Dawn. The small bottle used to be 11 oz., but now it's only 9 oz. - for the same price. :(

Festival
At Festival, I had planned on purchasing the eggs and butter (since the prices match my buy prices), and I also found pork for $1.99 per pound. I've already separated and vacuum-sealed that for the freezer!

2 pounds of butter, $2 each
Dozen large eggs, $0.99
Pork, $1.99/lb. = $6.01 total
Spent $11.
