Here's our shopping breakdown for the week:

Copps
I went to Copps on Wednesday, which is a Double Coupon Day. I was really impressed with my good deals there! I also had a wonderful cashier who made checkout so easy - I called the store today and told the manager how great she was. I enjoy complimenting employees for exceptional customer service, especially because I've worked retail and it is NOT an easy job!

(2) Green Giant Steamers $1.00 each (on sale for $1.25 each, used $0.50/2 coupon)

(1) Johnsonville mild Italian sausage $3.99 (Not on sale, but we are having spaghetti this week. This is a perfect example of why I coupon: I can afford this simply because I had nearly $10 in coupons, leaving room in my budget for non-sale, 'luxury' items!)

I aim for $40 per week on all spending. We went over this week, but we don't need any groceries or household items now. Because we live in a very small town (the only thing we have is Dollar General), I have to shop when I make it to neighboring towns. I don't like to make extra trips just for shopping, so I try to combine them with other things (like doctor appointments today!). Since I spent extra this week, that means I have about $10.00 next week for any necessities!
