With nearly two feet of snow on the ground after this weekend's blizzard, our weekend has been very busy - mostly full of shoveling! The bitter cold temperatures are moving in now...I wish I had soup on the menu! I actually might try making a Ham Cheddar Soup (from Taste of Home) with our leftover ham.
Sunday: Council/Church Staff Christmas Dinner at our house. We're supplying ham and drinks.
Monday: Tacos in the crockpot (from freezer cooking).
Tuesday: Advent Dinner at the "small" church for Mike. I have a school function so I'll take leftovers.
Wednesday: Advent Dinner at the "big" church. It's spaghetti this week, so I'll be taking leftovers.
Thursday: Breakfast for dinner. We have
Friday: Homemade Spanish rice with hamburger.
Saturday: Cheddar Ham Soup with leftover ham.
For breakfast, we each grab what we want: waffles, muffins, pancakes, cold cereal, yogurt, etc.
For lunch, I usually eat leftovers. My husband eats a sandwich or leftovers - he takes his lunch to work most days. Now that I'm working part time, I take my lunch to school (and usually we meet at church and eat together!).
