Menu Plan 12/26

Have you all survived the Christmas weekend?! We are certainly exhausted here, but we enjoyed some relaxation with family as we celebrated the birth of our Lord. And in this family, my husband (the pastor) is already looking toward Lent. Yes, time moves quickly!

We ate so much over the weekend that I think we could probably take this week off! While that is certainly a nice thought, rumor has it that I will still be cooking this week...

This is all subject to change, as we do not know yet if or when my family will be able to visit.

Sunday: leftovers (Choose from ham, ham, or....ham! Oh, and we might have some pork or pizza or soup in there, too! My refrigerator is seriously scary right now...).

Monday: Chicken Shepherd's Pie (didn't make this last week, as I got the oh-so-lovely stomach flu...)

Tuesday: Meatloaf.

Wednesday: Spaghetti, garlic bread.

Thursday: Pork, roasted potatoes, broccoli.

Friday: We've been invited out for dinner for New Year's Eve.

Saturday: Taco soup (Grandma's special recipe!) during the Rose Bowl (and, as someone who is married to a Wisconsin native and avid Badger fan, I must say, "Go Badgers!")

For breakfast, we each grab what we want: waffles, muffins, pancakes, cold cereal, yogurt, etc.

For lunch, I usually eat leftovers. My husband eats a sandwich or leftovers - he takes his lunch to work most days. Now that I'm working part time, I take my lunch to school (and usually we meet at church and eat together!).
