Shopping: Walmart and Aldi
I had a very successful tip to Walmart on Tuesday morning!
2 Earthbound Farms carrots, both FREE plus $0.32 overage (used $2/2 Recycle Bank printable)
2 Idahoan potato pouches, both FREE (for donation - used two $1/1 printables)
2 Kraft shredded cheese, $1.08 each (used two $1.50/1 printables)
Yoplait 4 pack, $2
6 Yoplait cups, $0.59 each (used $0.40/6 printable)
M&Ms, $1.48 (used $1.50/1 printable)
Ore Ida hash browns, $1.48 (used $1/1 printable)
GV whole wheat pasta, $1.08
Wheat sub rolls, $1.74 (markdown rack)
2 Colgate toothpaste (2.8 oz.), $0.23 (used two $0.75/1 printables)
4 Old Orchard juice, $0.97 each (used $1/4 printable)
Business envelopes, $0.94
Spent $18.72.
I went to two different Aldi stores - the one in Onalaska has a rather poor selection of fresh produce.
Artisan lettuce, $1.99
Blackberries, $1.39 (markdown)
Hamburger buns, $0.99 (price must have gone up?)
Frozen peas, $0.99
Broccoli, $1.49
Sugar (5 lbs.), $2.98
2 Tortilla chips, $1.19
Chicken breasts, $5.99
Chocolate chips, $1.69
Spent $19.98.
That wraps up my shopping for November - just a few dollars under-budget! I think we're well set for December, which is nice, because then we'll have some "extra" money for special holiday treats. :)
