As I've said before, this year, I began creating monthly goals for myself, based on my yearly goals. Then, I break those monthly goals down into weekly goals - and I chip away at those goals each day. Following this process has made a huge difference in what I am able to accomplish. In fact, I am accomplishing more than I thought possible!
Here's a look at the goals toward which I will be working in the month of May:
Personal Goals
- Read five books.
- Ebook: How My Soul Yearns by Ashley Wells
- Be Centsable by Chrissy Pate and Kristin McKee
- The Meaning of Marriage by Timothy Keller
- Dear Birthmother by Kathleen Silber
- Successful Adoption: A Guide for Christian Families by Natalie Nichols Gillespie
- Complete my DIY project: Homemade Hamburger Buns for my husband.
- Exercise three times per week for 30 minutes each time.
- Organizational projects
- Carts in office.
- Childhood "memories." I'd like to purchase plastic totes to put our items in so they are protected.
- Continue planning Vacation Bible School - begin registration, finalize leaders.
