I was feeling like a "frugal failure" this week. The deals have been slim in these part for weeks now - we are really starting to see the costs rise around here. With fewer options than most people, I don't have much choice but to pay whatever it takes. I'll need to see how March ends up, but I am thinking I'll need to raise our grocery budget.

I was mad at myself for over-spending - but really, I primarily shopped the sales and used a number of coupons. It's not like I walked into each store and bought what I really wanted! And in reality, we will be very well stocked on food for several weeks after this week.
