Menu Plan 12/16: Buttermilk Chicken Strips, Pizza Pie + more!

Sunday: Buttermilk Chicken Strips, veggies, potatoes.

Monday: Pizza Pie, veggies, rolls/bread.

Tuesday: Advent dinner.

Wednesday: Advent dinner/leftovers/whatever I can find in the fridge!

Thursday: We are hosting the Annual Church Council Christmas Dinner at our house!

Friday and Saturday are both up in the air right now, depending on a few different factors. I've got a few ideas in mind for meals, but truthfully, I don't even know which meals we will actually be home for!

Friday: ??

Saturday: ??

For breakfast, we each grab what we want: waffles, muffins, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, cold cereal, yogurt, etc.

For lunch, I usually eat leftovers or something simple, like grilled cheese or quesadillas. My husband eats a sandwich or leftovers - he takes his lunch to work.

  1. Hope you have a wonderful Advent dinner! My kids would love that pizza pie. I'll have to try it - it sounds perfect for the teens to cook up! Yum! Thanks for joining in on the Gluten Free Menu Swap!

    1. Heather - At this point, we are both hoping the dinner actually happens! We are expecting a huge winter storm on Wed night into Thursday...we've heard totals of anywhere from 6-18 inches of snow for our area. Eek! :)

  3. Ever since you have been sharing your meal plans, I have been mentally trying to work out meal plans myself LOL. I may not write them down, but I am looking ahead throughout the week and planning a little more than I have in the past. I usually just go with the flow and most mornings have no idea what is going to be served that evening for dinner. Thanks for sharing in 'Made From Scratch' Monday this month!
