My 2013 Goals

After reviewing my goals for 2012, I've worked out a list of goals for 2013.

My goals this year will be more broad this year, as we are expecting a baby in February - and I already know how much that one event is going to change our lives!

However, I still want to have purpose and intentionality in my life, despite the major life changes, so I'm sticking with goal-setting, albeit flexible goals!

Personal Goals

Read 41 books. I will track my progress on my Pinterest board and will share some reviews here on the blog.

Begin exercising again - after the baby arrives!

Edit the LLMA newsletter. This goes out 3-4 times per year.

Create monthly and weekly goals regularly. I really enjoyed doing this during 2012. For 2013, I purchased the Time Keeper planner and it has space for me to keep my goals right in it.

Continue crocheting. I am planning to work on some scarves and other small projects throughout 2013. I even have an idea for our daughter's first Christmas already!

I aim for better organization than this! :)

Home Management Goals

Maintain the monthly budget using my Excel spreadsheets.

Keep receipts organized and update tax spreadsheet monthly.

Plan our dinner menu on a monthly basis. This is such a lifesaver for me - I don't know what I would do without it!

Deep clean our home during the summer.

    1. Well, I read 43 books in 2012, so I'm hoping to at least do the same this year. However, my life is changing significantly, so we'll see what that does for my goals!

That's why I am keeping an open mind. :)

  2. Awesome! What do you use to plan your meals for the month, anything in particular? I eat gluten free too (as well as avoiding other allergens for my kids) but plan a week out and want to venture to 2 weeks and maybe longer :)

I don't use anything in particular to plan my meals. I print off a monthly calendar and start filling it in (with pencil) basically! I've been doing this for over 2 years and I keep every menu plan so I use those a reference.

I also have a Pinterest account where I pin recipes, so I pull from there, too.

If you do a week now, I'd encourage you to try 2 weeks at a time and see how it works for you. Best of luck! :)
