*Over the past few weeks, I have noticed that the Walgreens in Mauston has been marking down a lot of dairy products, mostly milk. The products are usually 2-3 days from the expiration date. I have seen half gallons of milk for $.75 and gallons for $.99! If you shop there, you may want to check the refrigerated section!
Emily, do you notice that they mark the milk down on certain days, or is it just dependent on the dates on the cartons?

Anonymous - I really don't think it's on any certain days. I don't shop at Walgreens on the same day every week (nor do I make it there every week!). I think it just depends on the dates on the milk cartons/jugs.
ReplyDeleteYou could always check with a clerk or manager to see if they have a "markdown" schedule.
