2012 Yearly Goals
Personal
- Read 36 books in 2012 = three per month. {I read "21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership," "The Happiness Project," and one book from my private list in February.}
- Completely reorganize our filing cabinet. I intend to spend at least one hour per week on this (during an average week). {Still doing well with this - I will have it done in March.}
- Complete one Do-It-Yourself project per month. {In February, I made Homemade English Muffins.}
- Exercise regularly - at least three times per week. {I was doing well with this, until I got sick. I'll be back on track this week hopefully!}
- Create monthly goals (a new concept, but similar to my weekly goals) for my personal life. {See below for an update on my February goals.}
- Continue creating weekly goals. {I have been very faithful in creating weekly goals and feel much more productive because of it.}
- Post a Do-It-Yourself project update at the end of each month. {I posted about my adventures in making Homemade English Muffins.}
- Post a monthly reading update at the end of each month. {My reading updates were posted throughout the month.}
- Post two new recipes per month. {In February, I posted recipes for Pizza Meatloaf and Garlic Parmesan Chicken.}
- Create monthly goals for my blog.
Marriage and Family
- Continue reading through the Bible together according this two year plan (we are on year two). {We are right on track!}
- Read several books about marriage and family: The Meaning of Marriage, 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families and Power of a Praying Wife. {I am planning to read these throughout the year.}
- Continue supporting each other through a huge upcoming change in our lives.
February Goals
Personal
Read three books: The Happiness Project,Kisses from Katie,plus one more. {I did read three books. See above.}My DIY project: Make Homemade English muffins for my husband.- Continue to exercise at least three times per week.

I love sitting down on a weekly and monthly basis to examine how I am doing with my goals. It helps me be so much more intentional. And by having a set goal that I want to meet, I am so much more likely to accomplish it!
