As we wrap up the month of March, I am taking a look back at my yearly and monthly goals. I am making steady progress with my goals, which is so exciting to me!
2012 Yearly Goals
Personal
Read 36 books in 2012 = three per month.Completely reorganize our filing cabinet. I intend to spend at least one hour per week on this (during an average week).Complete one Do-It-Yourself project per month.Exercise regularly - at least three times per week. We just bought a Nordic Track treadmill, so I will be working on creating some workout routines that work best for me.Create monthly goals (a new concept, but similar tomy weekly goals) for my personal life.Continue creatingweekly goals.
Post a Do-It-Yourself project update at the end of each month.Post a monthly reading update at the end of each month.Post two new recipes per month.Create monthly goals for my blog.

(I'm deviating from my plan and adding in an extra book!){I read all four planned books this month!}"Kisses from Katie" by Katie Davis- I just started this book and can hardly put it down!"Goals! - How to Get Everything You Want -- Faster Than You Ever Thought Possible"by Brian Tracy"Please Stop Laughing at Me" by Jodee Blanco- This woman recently spoke at our local publc school (where I substitute teach often)."The Complete Idiot's Guide to Adoption" by Christine Adamec- This gives you a hint as to our "upcoming change"!
Makehomemade gluten free pita bread(myDo-It-Yourself project).{This was an adventure, but it is done.}Exercise three times per week for 30 minutes each time.Listen toMoney Saving Mom's Budgetaudiobook (as part of a blogger review program).{I posted my review on Thursday. - Remaining loan paperwork.
- Any extra folders that I may have missed (and there will be some shredding, too!).
Declutter and organize our bathroom closet. This project will be mainly focused onour health and beauty stockpile.{I spent an afternoon working on this project and am glad that it's reorganized!}Vacation Bible School prep: volunteer recruitment is the current focus.

Wow! How are you finding so much time to read? That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I usually read 15-30 minutes before bed each night, so I at least get that in every day.
DeleteI am a substitute teacher, so I often read when I am at school - when I am not assisting students. I like to read when the kids have silent reading - to be a good example :)
I am making reading more of a priority this year - and I am thoroughly enjoying it!
